NYU Postbaccalaureate Prehealth Studies Program
The NYU Postbaccalaureate Prehealth Studies program is a "career-changer" postbacc program designed for students who wish to enter a health professions program and who have not previously completed their prerequisite coursework, completed their prerequisite coursework outside of the US, or their prerequisite coursework has expired. Students must need to complete a minimum of five of the following courses to be eligible: General Chemistry I, General Chemistry II, Organic Chemistry I, Organic Chemistry II, Biochemistry, General Biology I, General Biology II, Physics I, and Physics II. More details on eligibility and admissions can be found our website and we encourage you to read these carefully before beginning your application.
*We are not a record-enhancement program for students who have previously attempted the prehealth coursework and now need to improve their GPAs. You can find an excellent directory of record-enhancing programs directly from the AAMC.
